Show synopsis: In today’s world, there’s a ready-made solution for nearly every need, a mega store on nearly every corner, a TV show for nearly every interest, and a disposable version of just about every product. While this convenience may make life easier in some respects, there’s also another side—one that constantly distracts us and makes us miss out on some of the very experiences that make us human.
This multimedia project explores those small, quiet experiences that often get overlooked or hurried through in our fast-paced world, and seeks to put them in a new light. The upcoming show is the first step in a larger conceptual project on this subject and will feature a range of media including painting, drawing, photography, and video.
